Formerly ENG 098. This course offers students individually tailored composition skills through work on paragraphs and essays, sentence structure and mechanics. It is offered in either lecture or lab mode. In the lab mode, the content moves from the paragraph to the essay with emphasis on structure and mechanics, and students earn 5 credits. Students may enroll in the same lab course no more than three quarters regardless of the number of hours for which they enroll. Grading option: Pass/fail. (SCC, SFCC)
