Students study various power unit designs using pictures, slides, drawings and bill of materials. Shop work may include the setup and demonstration of the five basic power units. Depending upon the availability of equipment and materials, the rebuilding or fabrication of new power units may be introduced. Prerequisite: FLPT 251 and concurrent enrollment in FLPT 261, 262.
