(Formerly HIST-251) This course will examine the history of Native American cultures in the United States. Through readings, lectures, and class discussions, students will explore the unique histories of several specific Native cultures, as well as the impact that these cultures had in shaping the course of American history. Prerequisite(s): Completion of ENGL-095 and READ-095 with a "C" or higher or assessment at college-level reading and writing.
