Community policing is a systems analysis approach to solving law enforcement challenges. Done well, community policing greatly improves law enforcement's ability to solve crimes and better serve their communities. Students will practice the S.A.R.A. model of community policing, used by the Washington State Patrol and other law enforcement agencies. Prerequisite(s): Assessment at college-level English and reading.
