This is an intermediate course building on concepts learned in IDS-124 using multimedia and graphic arts designed in an integrative study of technology. This class gives a hands-on approach to learning by integrating text, graphic arts, and sound. Students will use software with scanners, digital cameras and other input devices incorporating digital images and type into publications that communicate effectively. Students enrolled in IDS-122 and IDS-222 may attend class together. Students in IDS-222 will be performing at a more advanced level than IDS-122 students. Prerequisite(s): Must be admitted/coded as a member of the Bridge Program.
