IDS 232 - College Writing/Reading/Critical Thinking/Analysis III

This course is designed to build on the skills learned in IDS 231 and will focus on argumentative and persuasive writing. The assignments in the class will be related to those in Lyceum. In addition to three hours of class time and assigned homework, this course requires a minimum of one hour per week of independent study to be coordinated and supervised by the instructor. Students enrolled in IDS 132 and IDS 232 attend class together. IDS 232 students are expected to perform at a more advanced level and complete different assignments than IDS 132 students, as specified in the course syllabus. Prerequisite(s): Must be coded/admitted as a member of the Bridge Program. Must have a "C" or better grade in IDS-230 or IDS-231 or ENGL-102.
