An intermediate algebra-based course for Health Science students, satisfying the requirements for the nursing, radiology and respiratory therapy programs. Topics will cover graphing and graph analysis; linear, exponential, and logarithmic functions; roots; unit conversions, scientific notation, and variation; biostatistics; applications involving various algebraic concepts applied specifically to the Health Science fields. Scientific calculator required. See schedule or instructor for recommended calculator. Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: READ-095 and MATH 90 or assessment above MATH 90.
