Course will provide application of the sciences required in respiratory care. The students will review the math skills used in performing calculations; relate chemistry concepts to clinical care; apply elements of biochemistry; understand physical laws, principles, and associated theories; and have an understanding of certain principles of microbiology as they relate to being a respiratory therapist.
