Articulation (bridge) course for LPNs entering the ADN program at the fourth quarter. The following concepts are discussed: role transition, wellness - illness continuum, nursing process, caring behaviors, prevention concepts, dosage calculations, intravenous administration, fluid and electrolyte balance, history and physical assessment based upon NANDA diagnostic categories, cultural and ethnic concerns, and selected medical conditions. Prerequisite(s): LPN licensure, Mobility testing indicating 4th qtr. entry, and admission to the Nursing program.
