To provde the student with the knowledge, skills and values to recognize, treat, and refer, when appropriate, the general medical conditions and disabilities. An in-depth study of pharmacologic applications, including awareness of indications, contraindications, precautions, and interactions of medication and of the governing regulations relevant to the treatment of injuries to and illnesses of athletes and others involved in physical activity.
