As the second part of a two-semester sequence on the United States Constitutional Law, deals with the Supreme Court's interpretation of the substantive rights of the First Amendment to the Constitution: speech, press, petition, assembly, and religion. Also emphasizes the rights of persons accused of crime, as outlined in the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Fourteenth Amendments. Deals with minority rights, as protected under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments.
