Study of mechanisms of the immune system. Includes humeral and cell mediated immunity, complement, autoimmunity, immunodeficiency, and immunopathology. Emphasis is on principles, procedures, and sources of error in clinical testing. Serology tests include: RPR, ASO, CRP, 1M, RA, LE, Rubella, Cold agglutinins, and fluorescent antibodies. 2 Class Hours, 2 Laboratory Hours per day.
