In addition to exploring contemporary issues relevant to the delivery of special education services in a changing school environment, students will learn specific skills that facilitate communication and effective collaboration with school personnel, parents, and support personnel from relevant agencies. Professional issues, ethical practices, and the role of the Christian teacher will be examined and discusssed. Prerequisites: EDUC 107, 230, 336, ECE 212, PSYC 409, concurrent enrollment in EDUC 436, Admission to Teacher Education Program.
