Emphasis is on the underlying concepts of biology which impact our daily lives as well as human interaction with the environment. Two lectures and three hours of laboratory each week. Along with PHSC 102, BIOL 106 meets General Education Laboratory Science requirement for Early Childhood and Middle Level Education Majors only.
