Atomic theory and structure, behavior of matter, principles and laws, and the scientifi c method of working and reasoning. Laboratory consists of related physical-chemical experiments in fi rst term; second-term lectures emphasize structure, chemical equilibrium, acid/base theory, and qualitative analysis, with laboratory work devoted to the same topics.
