Introduction to the study and practice of liberation theology in the Latin American context through classroom study of the history, method, and content of liberation theology, especially in the contexts of Chile and El Salvador, and through service learning in our local community with people of Latin-American heritage. Our purpose will be to investigate how this movement emerged and the effects it continues to have culturally, politically, religiously, and personally.
