This elective seeks to facilitate the senior-level student's transition from student to practicing professional nurse. The greater part of the course is devoted to clinical practice under the guidance of an R.N. clinican-mentor. Selected clinical seminars will be scheduled to augment specifi c clinical, professional, or cultural issues as they relate to nursing health care. Faculty will determine the site of the clinical practicum. Total clinical hours (including clinical seminars): 200. Prerequisite: Nursing 312, 314, or approval of the nursing faculty. Staff
