Prerequisite: MATH1314 with grade of C or better 48 lecture hours ............................................................3 credit hours Concepts of geometry, probability, and statistics, as well as applications of the algebraic properties of real numbers to concepts of measurement with an emphaisis on problem solving and critical thinking. ( NOTE: This course is a required part of the approved field of study curriculum for middle grades (4 through 8) teacher certification. This course may also be appropriate for early childhood education majors.)
