A study of music in worship from Biblical times to the present. Students will develop an understanding of current worship practices in relation to historical trends and develop a biblical perspective on music's role in corporate worship. Course includes visits to local churches and the design and implementation of a worship service on campus. WA 461 Worship Arts Seminar (3) This capstone course to the Worship Arts major will be comprised of a variety of completed projects that had been designed in collaboration with the instructor. The projects will include solo and team assignments, collaboration with active arts ministries, and more. A portfolio will be developed with the projects to effectively demonstrate the student's capabilities in leadership of arts ministry.
