This course is designed to build math concepts and develop math skills in elementary-age children. Special attention will be given to the mathematical scope and sequence in an elementary school, the use of manipulatives and paper models in instruction, lesson development and presentation, and predicting, avoiding, diagnosing, and remediating difficulties related to mathematics instruction. Prerequisite: MA102 and MA201
