This course provides an overview of the place of physical education in the elementary school curriculum with emphasis on facilitating each elementary school student into the role of participant in the physical education experience. Instruction will include the importance of quality physical education, implementation of effective lessons, classroom management strategies, and assessment of the physical education experience in light of program objectives in physical education. Prerequisite: Admission to the Education Department
