This course is designed to assist the student in understanding the mental, emotional, social, and physical conditions that require special consideration in an Adapted Physical Education program. This includes both improved understanding and practical application of curriculum issues, instructional strategies, and assessment needed for inclusion in an Adapted Physical Education setting. Aiding, observing, and teaching experiences will be arranged with special populations to reinforce what students have learned. Also listed as HP302.
