(Fall, Even-Numbered Years Only) This course provides experience in the techniques required for research in the aquatic environment. Aspects of organism identification, habitat classification, water chemistry, and sampling techniques will be included. One three-hour field meeting per week. Prerequisites: BIO-110, BIO-151, CHE-111, CHE-141, CHE-112, CHE-142, MAT-245 or MAT-248.
