(Fall and Spring, Course Offered Every Year) A study of the nature and structure of the elementary school, including curriculum, organization, teachers' roles and responsibilities, and professionalism. Emphasis is given to the integrated curriculum and developmentally appropriate instructional strategies. Admission to the Teacher Education Program is a prerequisite. Block class.
