(Fall and Spring, Course Offered Every Year) This course is designed as a preparation for college algebra and other 100-level mathematics courses covering the following topics: the real number system, exponents, roots, radicals, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, equations and inequalities, graphing linear equations and inequalities, graphing quadratic equations, and word problems. Counts as two credit hours toward course load and full-time student status but does not count as college credit.
