(Spring, Course Offered Every Year) A study of more advanced conducting patterns, techniques, and rehearsal procedures. Laboratory experiences are concerned with learning about music through the rehearsal and study of choral literature. Emphasis is placed upon characteristics of style, musical analysis, and performance techniques as applicable to literature selected from all historical periods. Prerequisites: MUS-300.
