(Spring, Course Offered Every Year) This course aims to build the students' ability in speaking, reading and writing Italian, as well as understanding spoken Italian, and to allow them to delve more deeply into the culture of Italy. The course includes extensive conversational practice as well as supplemental readings of literary and cultural texts and readings from the Internet. Conducted in Italian. Prerequisite: ITA 102 (Elementary Italian II) or equivalent. Weekly work in language laboratory required. This course is a prerequisite for ITA 206. Co-requisites: None.
