(Spring, Course Offered Every Year) An advanced-level course to orient students' functional use of Spanish to the world of business from a Hispanic cultural perspective. Students will report on current events, trade accords among nations and intercultural issues in the workplace. Prerequisites: Successful completion (grade of C or better) of Intermediate Spanish II (SPA 206) is required and Advanced Composition and Grammar (SPA 306) is preferred. Students who wish to take Business Spanish without having completed SPA 306 should seek the permission of the instructor. Co-requisites: None.
