(Fall and Spring, Course Offered Every Year) A course designed to provide students with a functional understanding of the health-related fitness components and their effect on daily living and long-term health. Discussion of health risks, nutritional factors and principles of exercise are included. Emphasis is on walking, jogging and running activities as a means of improving health-related fitness, also stresses setting long-term goals to change or maintain wellness.
