(Varies, Contact Dept. Head) A beginning course which includes instruction of Native American traditions and history, basic skills, rules, and strategies needed to develop a rudimentary level of competency in the sport of lacrosse in order to participate at a level that maintains or improves overall health. Students will also learn about basic offensive and defensive tactics and strategies essential to appropriate competition. This is a fast-paced and physically active team sport which also requires teamwork and sportsmanship.
