Technical topics related to computer hardware and operating system fundamentals as defined by COMP-TIA A+ certification. Includes identification and installation of hardware; installation, configuration and upgrading operating systems; diagnosing problems and general troubleshooting skills; and basic network capabilities of operating systems. Covers a major portion of the materials needed for students to master in order to pass the CompTIA A+ Core and Operating System tests. Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or better in CTEC 110.
