Fundamentals ofconceptualizing and producing utilitarian items in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Skill development through the techniques of sinking, raising, repousse', and piercing to create objects from sheet and stock materials. Includes oxy-fuel acetylene welding, brazing, soldering, tinning, polishing, and tool making. Using welding processes and metal forming techniques applied toward concepts of art to produce theme driven artistic functional or sculptural projects.
