Prerequisite: BIO 225 A study of the growth and maturational processes that affect motor skill acquisition and performance throughout the life span. Theories are examined regarding learned motor behavior and the control of movement, focusing on the role of perceptual, memory, and motor functions in the acquisition and retention of skilled movement. Students attain the knowledge necessary to undertake a systematic approach to the analysis of human motion. Offered fall semester.
