Prerequisite: PED 340 The primary purpose of this course is for the students to have an advanced understanding of the care and treatment of athletic injuries. This is to include but is not limited to advanced anatomy, special-ized taping and wrapping techniques, thorough evaluation and rehabilitation of injuries, communi-cating with physicians, observation and assistance to the athletic trainers on staff, use of modalities, and description of over-the-counter medications.
