Prerequisites: Senior standing in Social Work, completion of all Social Work courses. Corequisite: SWK 426. Supervised field placement giving students an opportunity to apply theory to practice by working with individuals, families, groups, and communities for a minimum of 400 hours. Placements are available in such settings as hospitals, mental health clinics, schools, nursing homes, and social wel-fare and juvenile facilities. May be repeated for credit up to a total of 12 credits. Course fee may apply. Offered spring semester. This is a pass/fail course.
