The first of a two-part semester sequence Senior Social Work field practicum where majors are assigned to social service agencies to observe and engage in generalist social work practice. Under structured supervision with a professional social worker, students are provided opportunities to apply social work knowledge, values, and skills acquired in the classroom to social service delivery systems. Student interns will work must complete 20 hours per week for a total of 300 clock hours. Restricted to social work major Prerequisite: SOWK 2205, 3305, 3240, 3241, 3101, Senior Standing. Corequisites: SOWK 3341, 4410, 4901
