This course is designed to assist students in developing interpersonal skills in the beginning engagement process with clients at the micro and mezzo levels of generalist practice. Students develop personal skills and enhance their self-awareness using various methods of interventions applied via case studies, role plays, logs and other forms of demonstrations. Restricted to social work major. Prerequisites: SOWK 2205 or SWK 250, SOWK 3201 or SWK 310, SOWK 3305 or SWK 305; Corequisites: SOWK 3305, 3201, 3220
