A course designed to give social work majors comprehensive exposure and a historical perspective to the concept of family and child welfare (FCW) as a societal concern and as an area of practice in social work. The course analyzes social policies and service delivery relevant for families and children. This is the first of two courses required for BSW Title IV-E Child Welfare recipients.
