Instruction in this course prepares students for nursing skills and further course work. It incorporates knowledge, skills, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. The course will include health promotion and illness/injury prevention in test situations with mock clients across the lifespan. This course may be completed in an approved Work Force Technological Preparation Course in High School. Prerequisite: Admission to ADN Program or administrative approval. Corequisite: If course taken in the ADN Program, the following corequisite courses must be taken: RNSG 1205, RNSG 1300, RNSG 1413. Credit: One semester hour.
