This course is designed to analyze and assess teaching resources and techniques in mathematics and science that will enable the Middle Grades teacher to effectively teach content and concepts to diverse students. It demonstrates appropriate strategies of instruction including hands-on lab experiences, discovery and inquiry methodologies, and directed field-based experience. Georgia Curriculum Standards are studied and incorporated. Prerequisite: MAT 123; Admission to Teacher Education.
