This course will introduce students to the field of family ministries. A biblical, theological, and sociological foundation for understanding families and designing ministries to the various forms of families is included. In addition, students are introduced to several family ministry models and ministry alternatives in both the church and para-church contexts. Prerequisite: FAM 233.
