The focus of this course is the study of the persuasive influence of media, in its varied forms, in contemporary culture. Emphasis will be placed on developing a Christian critique of that influence as well as discussing an appropriate role for the Church, as producers and receivers, in today's media culture. Prerequisite: COM 363, MCM 203.
