This course is an in-depth study of the nature and behavior of humans as we relate and work together in the organization. It examines techniques of applying the managerial functions of staffing and controlling to accomplish organizational goals. Topics include employee selection and retention, testing, training, pay incentives, performance evaluating, discipline, and legal compliance. Compensation for international employees is introduced. Prerequisite: MAN 213.
