This course is designed to coach the student in the preparation and teaching of philosophy. The student will learn how to design a syllabus, select appropriate textbooks, prepare lesson plans and PowerPoint presentations, consider creative methods to teach philosophy, and be given several opportunities to teach in sections of introduction to philosophy courses. The student will be assigned to a professor who will oversee the student's progress. Prerequisite: the student must be in his/her final semester.
