Prerequisite: KSPE 2999. A study of administrative theory and principles as they relate to the process of planning, organizing, supervision, personnel, budget, facility design, risk management, and other issues that are related to operating physical education and sports programs in educational and community settings. Studies of psychological and sociological forces affecting participants or physical activity and the developmental approach to instruction including diverse cultures, race, ethnicity, sexual identify, religious diversity, and socio-economics in sports are examined.
