Students are introduced to the athletic training program. They also learn several basic skills applications, including modalities, assistive devices, spine boarding, wound care, splinting, protective/sports equipment fitting, and CPR-Professional Rescuer. Students must complete a minimum of 50 clinical observation hours under direct supervision of clinical instructors.
