The course may concentrate on a single author or group of authors, a specific genre, or a literary theme. Possible emphases include women in medieval literature, medieval romances, Arthurian literature of the Middle Ages, Jacobean drama (excluding Shakespeare), seventeenth-century poetry, and Renaissance women writers.
