A team-taught interdisciplinary exploration of solutions to contemporary environmental problems. Drawing from the literature on a specific environmental problem, students working in teams will analyze the problem from various vantage points, such as the artistic or literary, ethical, political and economic, scientific or spiritual and will evaluate the social and individual actions prescribed by one or more of their vantage points. Students will create a project-artistic or scientific- that demonstrates their command of course material and provokes discussion of and reflection about possible environmental solutions.
