The academic portion focuses on healthy beginning, maintaining, and advancing exercise programs through the application of basic concepts from exercise physiology and exercise psychology. Students are required to actively participate in a physical portion of the class that is designed to increase strength as well as aerobic capacity through a variety of activities. This class is applicable to people of all fitness levels.
