Credits: 2. This course will explore the art and science of effectively teaching aquatics to all special populations. Aquatics teaching methods will be discussed for individuals with physical, mental, emotional, sensory, and medical/health disabilities. Program organization and administration, special teaching techniques, aqua-therapy, adapted games and innovative equipment ideas will be presented. Opportunities to earn multiple national certifications and credentials will be provided.
